The PACIFIC CLIPPER is a modified version of the the original FOLKBOAT designed by Tord Sunden (1942). It became the FRISCO FLYER (a number of different versions) and then the OFFSHORE 26. It is also referred to as the PACIFIC FLYER and FRISCO FLYER MKI.

FORBAN MKII introduced in 1975.

The first boats were carvel built. FG production began in 1981

East Anglians were also built by Dixon’s and Kerley’s of Maldon until 1971.

This boat has also been called the BLACKWATCH 24 (the over all length including the bowsprit is 24′) Blue Water Boatworks was located in Amarillo TX (USA).

Ian Anderson was asked by Normand Boatyard to re-work his earlier SIRIUS design for GRP construction. The first boat produced was given the name BOWMAN. The molding was carried out by the Monachorum Manufacturing company. Eleven boats were built by the Normand Boatyard before the rights were sold to their then agents Larry Baker and Alan Hallett of Emsworth Marine Sales. Some were also built at Emsworth Shipyard.
Later, with some modifications, (longer coachroof and more freeboard) this design became the HURLEY 27.

Also built in Taiwan. Some were sold in ‘kit’ form.
Also called a Noon Ocean 34. Still others were built in North Vancouver (CAN) as Tradewind 34.
