DOUGHDISH is a name given to the original HERRESHOFF 12 1/2 as well as the name of a fiberglass replica, first built in 1972 by Doughdish Inc.. Of the latter, nearly 100 have been built.

The original wooden Amigo 40 was built in 1961. It is thought production of fiberglass hulls began in the 1970’s. We have been told hull #19 was built in 1979.
