Designed inspired by the George Stadel Pilot Cutter “Indian” which was in Sarasota, FL (USA) at the time. The folks from Topsail yachts, also located in Sarasota, were frequent visitors to “Indian,” taking pictures and measurements.

“Designed for builder Peter Duff and appeared in July 1980 issue of SMALL BOAT JOURNAL Pretty good idea in theory but never caught on possibly because of high price and deep draft that made launching more difficult than other boats of this size.”
