The MALLARD is a cuddy cabin cruiser with a hull similar to that of a FLYING SCOT. It is thought that less than 40 were built.

An ELITE version was introduced (1982) with a different interior layout and transom hung rudder. Later still was a more cruising oriented version called the SEAWAY 787. All shared the same basic hull. Built and mostly seen in Australia.

Commissioned by members of the Hull Y.C., (near Boston, MA USA) and also known as the HULL SEA BIRD. The class didn’t outlive World War II, but a single example was being restored in 2008.
