A later, slightly modified version was available called the RASCAL II.
Formerly the US 21 from US Yachts/Bayliner.
Originally derived from the RANGER 22 hull, it became the BUCCANEER 220 and US 22. Later Pearson aquired the molds and it became, for a short time, the TRITON 22.
This, the first VENTURE CAT 15, has the banana shaped hulls, possibly influenced by the HOBIE 14 and 16 which were hugely popular at this time.
Another version with less rocker was introduced in 1975(?), though hull and sail dimension for both versions were similar.
In 1974 ? the earlier banana shaped hulls were replaced with this model that featured a straighter sheer line, though hull and sail dimensions remained nearly the same.
Not the same as HUSTLER 30 (1970 – Holman & Pye).
