Since the orginal SUNBEAMS were built in the 1920’s, the class has maintained racing fleets, almost continually, to this day.
Currently, the Class is organised in two Divisions. The SOLENT SUNBEAMS (with
Headquarters at Itchenor) and the FALMOUTH SUNBEAMS (with headquarters at the
Port of Falmouth).
Spinnaker allowed only for the Solent fleet.

The ARGONAUTA 27 has aft folding akas that reduce the beam to 8.5′ for trailering.
