Initial LOA was 8.05m / 26’5″. This was increased to 8.15m /26’9″ by 1975. A new deck was introduced in 1978 which allowed for an aft cabin, built-in Diesel engine and wheel steering.
Current boats are 8.45m / 27’9″.

By 1982 over 1900 had been built.

The back decker was initially built (from late 1973 to early 1976) with a long berth.
In 1976, the heyday of the Neptun 22, the balance rudder and the model variant of the Dinett were developed.
Neptun has made various upgrades throughout the years and continues to build the 22 to this day (2021).
