Known as S&S design # 1959 and several versions were built by a number of yards around the world. The version built by Aquafibre (UK) only differed in having a slightly raised doghouse, while the Australian version (built by Swarbrick Brothers) has an uninterrupted cabin trunk. A later Mark II version has an updated keel and rudder-skeg configuration. The Aquafibre hulls were often finished by other yards. Some were exported to the US and sold as the PALMER JOHNSON 34.

S&S#539.
First in series of yachts in this size range (by S&S) called ‘Pilot’.
(The first post WWII S&S design)
First built by Fisher Boat Works in Detroit, MI, and later by Thomas Knudson in Huntington, NY.
AKA S&S PILOT, it was followed, a number of years later, by 2 other, more popular versions built by Henry Hinckley.
The last and best known is the HINCKLEY PILOT 35 (1962).

S&S design #2014. See AQUA 30 for more details.
Also sold as the AQUA 30. Imported to US and sold as the PALMER JOHNSON 30. (actually there were 2 versions of the PJ 30, both different vintage S&S 30’s.)
An earlier S&S 30 (S&S design 1999c) was built by Swarbrick Bros. of Australia as well as the YANKEE 30, by Yankee Yachts (USA).
Thanks to Owen McCall, PJ-30 owner, for supplying information on the different versions of the S&S 30.

Same hull design as the US TARTAN 37(S&S).

8 were built as training yachts for the Royal Navy.

First offered as NELSON MAREK 46 IMS, NELSON MAREK 46CR, and then the NELSON MAREK 46PC (Performance Cruiser) shown here.

Alden design #981. Hulls were molded by Halmatic Ltd. but most were finished by other yards. The NICHOLSON 38 was also based on this design.

A number of these hulls, molded by Colvic, were sold to others for finishing such as Atlanta Marine, where it was known as the ATLANTA 25/26. Most were twin/bilge keel, with a few single fin keel versions.

Twin or single fixed keel.
Sold complete from Colvic or finished by other yards.
