A ‘pure auxiliary’ version, (without the pilot house) was called the OFFSHORE 30. How many of these were actually built is unknown.

The most unique feature of the CORONET/ELVSTROM 38 MS is the below-the-waterline bulbous bow.
Botved was a Danish builder of mostly power boats. When they went out of business in the late 1970′, another yard aquired the molds and built a slightly modified, MII version, at least into the late 1980’s.

In 1980 a new deck molding featured a raised coach roof (not shown here) that provided additional headroom in the main cabin.
