Originally SALMO SALAR. (Submitted for ‘Yachting World’ design competition in 1966.)
Design intended for wood contruction. FG version from Moody’s.
Offered as sloop or ketch. The ketch version was also called the Salar Buccaneer. With the Buccaneer, the designers took the opportunity to add to and improve the accommodation and layout (design #646).

Available with fin keel, draft: 4.58ft / 1.40m.

Micheal Volmer was CEO of Halman Manufacturing Co. A few boats (as above) were rigged as cutters.
Also called HALMAN 27.

The MACWESTER 26 was the first yacht built by Macwester and had a long production run. Interiors varied greatly. A Mark II version with a slightly larger rig was introduced in 1971. Soon afterwards the 26 was replaced with the MACWESTER 27.

Same as HYLAS 44 but with extended transom w/swim ladder.
