The MOORINGS 500 is similar to the BENETEAU OCEANIS 500.

The first C&C 44 was built in Canada, the rest at C&C’s Middletown, RI (USA) plant. Available with many different ballast-keel combinations and rig options.
Keel/centerboard vers.: BU – 5.5′; BD – 8.5′.

Only a few were built by Islander/Wayfarer. It is believed that the molds for the hull were sold to Tradewinds Yachts which built at least three cruising versions as the TRADEWINDS 55.
A kit version was sold as the YACHTCRAFT 55.

Also called SEGUIN 48.

More cruising oriented version of the TARTAN 46 with traditional stern. (S&S design #2060).
