Notes

vds design #194. Based on the famed ocean racer STORMVOGEL (1969). Offered as a racing yacht or luxury cruiser. An extremely successful model with more than 20 built. A few were finished by Camper & Nicholson. 'Ocean Spirit', (with Robin Knox-Johnson & Leslie Williams as crew), won the double-handed Around Britain race in 1970. Another OCEAN 71 was owned by Graham Kerr, known, at the time on TV, (in both the UK and USA) as the 'Galloping Gourmet'.
