Notes

Winner of a design competition in 1964, sponsored by 'Yachting World' magazine for a new, high performance single handed dinghy.
TOY='Tony's Own Yacht'.
Enthusiasm for the Toy was soon eclipsed with the arrival of the CONTENDER, winner of the singlehanded dinghy trials, (held at Weymouth, England) just one year later.
The TOY uses a sliding seat, which was already loosing favor as a manageable hiking aid.
Class racing reportedly existed (in the UK) into the mid-1980's.
Some were imported to US and Canada.
