Zuanelli (Cantiere Zuanelli)
Founded by Peter Zuanelli and later managed by his sons, Mario and Francesca. The yard is located a short distance for Lake Garda. It is thought that production of fiberglass sailboats began in earnest when the firm assumed the assets of Alpa Yachts, which at it's peak, was one of the largest producer of fiberglass sailboats in Europe. A variation of the original S&S designed ZUANELLI 40,(derived form the earlier ALPA 40) was still available in 2009.
