Eugène Cornu

1903 - 1987

French naval architect. Hired by Paul Jouët in 1926 and spent much of his design career with the Jouët firm. Best known for the small cruiser, the BALOUGA (1943), of which nearly 1000 were built, but with many other yachts and dinghys to his credit such as the MOUSSE.
His nephew, Andre Cornu, was the designer of the INTERNATIONAL 470.
