Our centreboard cable has failed.
Does anyone have a drawing of the mechanism – where/ how the cable is attached to the board?
Does anyone have experience replacing this cable/connector? Trying to figure out how to access it and what we’ll use to reconnect it.

We are having a diver have a look and hoping to get information on the design of the mechanism. Board is now down and no option to retract. Hoping for a quick resolution as our ports of call are quite limited at this point.

Seems like you’ll need to haul out to get it fixed anyway, which would enable you to figure out how it works. Fairport Yachts (Ohio) bought the C&C brand and might have some information. Have you contacted them?
