    I would like to know more about the sailing characteristics of the wing keel models such as the O’Day 272. I am sure they have been discussed. What are the impressions pluses and minuses of sailors that have sailed the wing keel models?

    The winged-keel on a Pearson I sailed on seemed to dampen the movement of the boat a good bit – stabilizing it, and making it feel much larger than the 28-some feet it was.
