The SAILMASTER D (S&S design #1743), shown above, and the SAILMASTER W (Weekender). The latter has a longer trunk cabin and shorter cockpit.
This from the S&S design office:
"This design originated as S&S Design No. 1631 when it was done for Seafarer Yachts in 1960. It became Design No. 1743 when Sailmasters took over production in 1963.
The builder in both instances was Werf Gusto, in Schiedam, Holland."
Original mast and boom were sitka spruce.
