Yes! I just watched a YouTube video by Sam Holmes…He had a gimballed single burner propane which worked wonderfully as he solo’d from LA to Hawaii in a Ranger 23…A fun watch!
All good points here…I got the sail for free… and after re-rigging the Mac from a fractional rig to masthead… I was looking for a more high aspect ratio headsail for more drive when the wind pipes up…In “round the buoys” racing , it’s all about the tiniest advantage…And bragging rights at the club (ha ha)
What can one use on the hull of a sailboat to reduce drag…is there a compound or a wax-type product? I see Laser sailors rubbing something on their hulls before a race…Does anyone know what this is?
